 1903 - Born in India

1911 - Went to school

1912 - Mother went to England, father stayed in India

1917 - Won scholarship

1921 - Joined the British Police

1927 - Dissatisfied and resigned

1928 - Journeyed to Paris

1932-1933 - For short time was teacher in private school

1933 - Meanwhile book published down-in Paris and Landon

1934 - Found job part time second hand bookshop

1934 - First Novel Burmese published

1935 - Anther Novel published

1936 - Keep Aspidistra Flying

1936 - Married Eileen (1945 - she died)

1936 Write a book about Prioverty in Norther England

1936 - Fight in the Spanish Civil War

1937 - Published The Road to Wigan  Pier 

1938 - Suffering from Tuberculosis 

1938 - Wrote Homage to Catalonia was published  

1938 - S0ending winter in Morocco.

1936 - 39 - Spanish Civil War

1941 - TO 1943 - Worked for BBS

1943 - Become Literary editor for Tribune a left Wing Magazine 

1945 - Great Satire  Animal Farm - published

1949 - Nine teen Eighty-Four published his master piece

1949 - Got married for second time with Sonia 

1950 -21 January he died

George Orwell was educated in England and he left Eton, then a British colony

1927 - He resigned and decided to become a writer.

ACHIEVEMENTS 

1917 - he won scholarship 

He was one of greatest writer in 20th century.

first book published in London and Paris (Down and Out)  

1928 - He ranked second in the times list of  The 50 greatest British writers since 1945.

19 34 - first novel was published Burmese Day  

he worked for BBS.

Towards the end of his life he became a Literary Editor.
